CyberMindr has been recognized in Gartner’s February 2026 report, “Emerging Tech: The Future of Exposure Management Will Be Preemptive, Driven by Autonomous Interdiction.”

The report examines how exposure management is evolving from passive visibility to proactive, AI-driven interdiction. The focus is shifting from identifying risk to preventing exploitation before it happens.

About the Report

Gartner outlines a significant shift in cybersecurity:

  • Exposure management is moving from observation to automated interdiction.
  • AI-enabled threat actors can exploit vulnerabilities in seconds.
  • Human-led remediation alone is no longer sufficient.
  • Unified exposure management platforms increasingly require automated containment capabilities.

According to Gartner’s strategic planning assumptions:

  • By 2029, 60% of unified exposure management solutions will include domain-specialized automated mitigation and threat containment capabilities.
  • By 2028, AI agents will remediate 70% of software code vulnerabilities, up from 10% in 2025.

The implication is clear. Security teams need to move beyond visibility and reporting toward faster, more automated prevention.

CyberMindr’s Role in Preemptive Exposure Management

The Gartner report highlights the transition toward autonomous interdiction, where exposures are identified, validated, and mitigated before exploitation.

CyberMindr supports this transition by:

  • Providing continuous external reconnaissance
  • Highlighting active threat indicators and exploitability signals
  • Enabling security teams to act before adversaries
  • Integrating with SOC workflows, reporting systems, and remediation processes

CyberMindr works alongside security teams to help shift from reactive defense to proactive exposure management.
